Bison Burger Club FAQs
Do I need a subscription?
Bison Burger Club is a subscription service. You may select a 3, 6 or 12 box plan. Each plan is monthly and requires pick up at one of our locations. You can buy a one-time box but you receive a better value with our subscription plans.
As a member you receive invitations to promotions, special deals and new recipes. You can also easily change your membership plan at any time as well as delay or stop your membership before your next order is billed without any additional fees or penalties.
How many lbs. come in each box?
We’ve kept it simple. Regardless of the membership plan you receive 5 or 10 lbs of premium bison in every box. It’s your choice!
Do I get burger patties or ground bison
You get individual 1lb. packages of ground bison which gives you the flexibility to use only the quantity that you need.
Will my order be frozen?
Your bison will be frozen upon pick up so you don’t have to use it all immediately. However, we recommend transferring it into your personal freezer storage within an hour to hour and a half. On hot days please take extra caution to avoid unsafe temperatures. An easy way to continue on with your day after pickup is to bring a cooler or freezer bag which lengthens your grace period.
How do I thaw frozen bison?
You have several safe options, but we recommend thawing in your refrigerator a day ahead of time, or in cold tap water. For full guidelines please follow the USDA and FSIS thawing instructions.
How do I communicate with your company?
We’ve found the most effective way to communicate is via email. Please email Guru@BisonBurgerClub.com to share photo’s, ask a question or share ideas. We would love to hear from you. Or, if you prefer just call or text us at 405.259.6169 for quick questions on products or general information.

Where does your meat come from?
Every single burger comes from our Benjamin Lee Bison ranch in Sayre, OK, direct from our ranch to your table. It is all natural, 100% American with no hormones or antibiotics. Read about our One Ranch, One Source approach and the importance of sustainability to benefit our bison, our land, and our customers.
Where is your OKC pick up location and hours?
You will receive a reminder email prior to each order with the current option for pick-up location, day and times. Currently, we have one option:
- Fair-Weather Friend brewery in the Sunshine District on the first Thursday of each month, from 4 – 6 p.m.
When will you offer Bison Burger Club to other locations outside OKC?
We ask ourselves that question about every day! Click here for a form on our website if you are interested — we really do look at feedback constantly and you will be first to know.
Billing/Account Setup
What payment types do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club debit and credit cards.
We do not accept PayPal.
How do I create my membership account?
When you make your first purchase, you will be directed automatically to create an account before checkout. Or, you can click here to create an account. (see screenshot)
How do I reset my password?
Click here to reset your password on Shop.BisonBurgerClub.com. (see screenshot)
How do I view my order history?
You must log in to your account to view your order history. Log in here.
Once you are logged in, you will see a list of your recent purchases. (see screenshot)
If you want to view the details of your Subscriptions, Select Subscriptions which is highlighted in yellow.
When will I be billed each month?
How do I change my billing information?
Log into your account here. Select Subscriptions highlighted in yellow. (see screenshot) Click on the subscription to open it and update your card information. (see screenshot)
How do I delay my next box or stop my membership?
Log into your account here. Select Subscriptions highlighted in yellow. (see screenshot) Click on the subscription to open and edit, pause, skip or cancel your order or update your card information. (see screenshot)
I missed my pickup date! What now?
Log into your account here. You will see the location and date selector at the bottom of the account page (see screenshot below). Click on your new desired pickup location and then select a date available for pickup at that location. Select “Update”
